How do we collect your data?

On the one hand, your data is collected when you provide it to us. This can, for example, be data that you enter in a contact form/application form.

Other data is automatically collected when you visit the website by the IT systems of the providers (service providers). This is primarily technical data (e.g. Internet browser, operating system or time of page access). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.

What do we use your data for?

Some of the data is collected to ensure that the website is provided without errors. Other data can be used to analyze your user behavior.

What rights do you have with regard to your data?

You have the right to obtain information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have the right to request the correction, blocking or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time at the address provided in the imprint if you have any questions about this or other questions regarding data protection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the responsible supervisory authority.

Analysis tools and third-party tools

When you visit our website, your surfing behavior can be statistically evaluated. This is done primarily with cookies and so-called analysis programs. The analysis of your surfing behavior is usually anonymous; the surfing behavior cannot be traced back to you. You can object to this analysis or prevent it by not using certain tools. You can find detailed information on this in the following privacy policy. From mid-2024, Google will stop supporting third-party cookies. This means that your cookie data can no longer be used or read by third parties.

Revocation of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke your consent at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal email. The legality of the data processing carried out up to the time of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct advertising (Art. 21 GDPR)

If the data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. e or f GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this data protection declaration. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims (objection according to Art. 21 Para. 1 GDPR).

If your personal data is processed in order to conduct direct advertising, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such advertising; This also applies to profiling insofar as it is related to such direct advertising. If you object, your personal data will subsequently no longer be used for the purposes of direct advertising (objection in accordance with Art. 21 Para. 2 GDPR).

Right to lodge a complaint with the responsible supervisory authority

In the event of violations of data protection law, the person concerned has the right to lodge a complaint with the responsible supervisory authority. The responsible supervisory authority for data protection issues is: https://www.dsb.gv.at/

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request that the data be transferred directly to another responsible party, this will only be done if it is technically feasible.

SSL- bzw. TLS-Verschlüsselung

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you send to us cannot be read by third parties.

Information, blocking, deletion

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to obtain free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing and, if applicable, a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time at the address provided in the imprint if you have any questions about this or other questions on the subject of personal data.

Objection to advertising emails

The use of contact data published as part of the imprint obligation to send unsolicited advertising and information materials is hereby objected to. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising information being sent, for example through spam emails.

Data collection on our website Cookies

Some of the Internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain any viruses. Cookies are used to make our service more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you require (e.g. shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f of GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies to ensure technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. If other cookies (e.g. cookies to analyze your surfing behavior) are stored, these are treated separately in this data protection declaration.

From mid-2024, Google will stop supporting third-party cookies. This means that your cookie data can no longer be used or read by third parties.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data will not be merged with other data sources. The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, which permits the processing of data to fulfill a contract or for pre-contractual measures.

Contact form/application form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form/application form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there and any attachments, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. The transmission is encrypted (SSL2.0). This data is passed on to our contractual partner onapply for further processing for the selection process/application process using an API module. For this purpose, you give the right to further process your data through the opt-in process, i.e. voluntary consent to the data protection declaration, and thus processing. The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore carried out exclusively on the basis of your voluntary consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. An informal message to us by email is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out up to the time of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation. If your application is successful, we will use the data you provide for employment purposes. If your application is unsuccessful or if you as an applicant withdraw your application – which you have the right to do at any time – your data will be deleted. The data will be deleted six months after the application, unless the applicant justifiably withdraws this. This period allows us to answer any questions about the application and to meet our obligations under the Equal Treatment Act. Receipts for travel expense reimbursements are retained in accordance with tax regulations.

Registration on this website/application process

You can register on our website to use additional functions on the site, such as the application process. We only use the data entered for the purpose of using the respective offer or service for which you have registered. The mandatory information requested during registration must be provided in full. Otherwise we will reject the registration. For important changes, such as in the scope of the offer or in the case of technically necessary changes, we use the email address provided during registration to inform you in this way.

The data entered during registration is processed on the basis of your voluntary consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal email. The legality of the data processing that has already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data collected during registration will be stored by us for as long as you are registered on our website and will then be deleted. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Comment function on this website

For the comment function on this page, in addition to your comment, information about the time the comment was created, your email address and, if you do not post anonymously, the user name you have chosen will be stored.

Storage of the IP address

Our comment function stores the IP addresses of users who write comments. Since we do not check comments on our site before they are published, we need this data in order to be able to take action against the author in the event of legal violations such as insults or propaganda.

Subscribing to comments

As a user of the site, you can subscribe to comments after registering. You will receive a confirmation email to check whether you are the owner of the email address provided. You can unsubscribe from this function at any time using a link in the information emails. The data entered when subscribing to comments will be deleted in this case; if you have sent this data to us for other purposes and elsewhere (e.g. newsletter order), it will remain with us.

Storage period of comments

The comments and the associated data (e.g. IP address) are stored and remain on our website until the commented content has been completely deleted or the comments have to be deleted for legal reasons (e.g. offensive comments).

Legal basis

The comments are stored on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal email. The legality of the data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation.

Processing of data (customer and contract data)

We only collect, process and use personal data to the extent that it is necessary for the establishment, content design or change of the legal relationship (master data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Letter b of GDPR, which permits the processing of data to fulfill a contract or pre-contractual measures. We only collect, process and use personal data about the use of our websites (usage data) to the extent that this is necessary to enable the user to use the service or to bill them.

The customer data collected is deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

IP anonymization

We have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. This means that your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Browser Plugin

You can prevent cookies from being saved by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Objection to data collection

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set that prevents your data from being collected on future visits to this website: Deactivate Google Analytics.

You can find more information about how Google Analytics handles user data in Google’s privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de

Contract data processing

We have concluded a contract for contract data processing (ADV) with Google and United Domains and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Demographic characteristics in Google Analytics

This website uses the “demographic characteristics” function of Google Analytics. This enables reports to be created that contain information about the age, gender and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google as well as visitor data from third parties. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time via the ad settings in your Google account or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described in the “Objection to data collection” section.
