Welcome to an exciting journey through the history of our company. What began as a globally respected carpet weaving company in 1850 under the name Philipp Haas has developed over many decades into a globally recognized automotive supplier in the premium vehicle segment.

Our story is a tale of vision, innovation and a constant pursuit of excellence. In the early days, hand-woven carpets were at the heart of our work – each piece a masterpiece of craftsmanship that combined tradition and quality.

Our passion for perfection and flair for innovation opened up new paths. With the same commitment that once characterized the carpets at the Ebergassing location, we ventured into the automotive industry. What once began as a small excursion into the production of high-quality vehicle textiles in the area of ​​carpet lamination for the loading floor quickly developed into comprehensive expertise for the vehicle interior segment in the area of ​​premium vehicle equipment.

In 1995 the company was taken over and re-branded by Magna Eybl GmbH. After further successful years and the constant development of our product portfolio, the location was taken over by the Spanish Antolin Group in 2015.

In November 2023, our site was acquired by a private equity firm and renamed EITEK GmbH. Thanks to the positive business development of the past year and a half, EITEK has been part of a leading global American automotive group since July 2025. EITEK GmbH is one of the leading suppliers to some of the world’s most prestigious car brands. Our high-quality materials and innovative solutions contribute to ensuring that every vehicle is not only functional but also unique.
